So, today I had a math test. It’s worth 100 points and it’s 10 questions. So if you get one wrong, that’s a lot of points off.. So of course, I was freaking out because I have no idea what we even learned in the last chapter. Like when my student teacher goes over it step by step, I get it.. But when I try to do it on my own, I get completely lost.. Like I must have asked him about a million times what an asymptote is.. hah. Well, I handed my paper in with seriously 3 problems done.. And I’m pretty sure they were wrong.. So I asked the student teacher to see what my grade would be if I were to get a 0 on the test. (I wasn’t aware that it was worth 100 points). So, he put in a 0 to see what would happen and my 92 average plummeted to a 61. The look on his face was traumatizing. And I told him I have to make honor roll this quarter and whatnot and tomorrow’s his last day.. Since all colleges are getting out around now anyway.. And he gave me a pass to come down during my study and he conveniently has a study that period as well and he’s going to go through every problem step by step with me. Thank god. I almost cried a little. :P
Oh, and then there’s Latin. Oh god do I hate that class. Well I missed my Latin class last Wednesday AND Thursday because I had an appointment and got out early Wednesday and I didn’t feel like going on Thursday. Then we didn’t have school Friday. Then it was the weekend. It was a miracle that I even remembered I wasn’t at school those days.. Well I came back on Monday and it turns out we had a test on Tuesday. So Monday we had a review game and then I took the test Tuesday and I was almost certain that I would fail it. (I also have a student teacher in this class) He gave us a chart with like 20 blanks and we had to fill in the endings for the masculine and neuter whatever they are. I honestly had no idea what he was even talking about. And neither did the rest of the class. I heard people asking him when we even learned it because he never went over it in the review we had the day before. And it turns out that the chart was in a packet he gave us on his first day of teaching.. IN FEBRUARY! Like you seriously think we’re just going to go look at something you gave us two chapters ago when you didn’t even mention it to us? Like.. NO. Are you crazy? Well, I didn’t study. I never do. I hate Latin. It is the worst language ever. Turns out I got a 91 on it. I don’t know how considering I got no points for those charts.
Also, this chapter in Latin was about when Mount Vesuvius erupted and destroyed the city of Pompeii.. I’d just like to say, after you found a city buried in the ash and stone, WHY WOULD YOU AGAIN BUILD ANOTHER CITY AT THE BASE OF THE DAMN VOLCANO!? Dumbasses.
Was interesting.. Kinda..
First Period: I had Chem.. We had a quiz on this stuff that I missed yesterday.. I got a 97 on it. So, it obviously wasn’t that hard. BUT I’m glad I got a high grade on it because I had a 77 in that class and it brought it up to an 83.
Second Period: I had Health. Well, actually I had a Veterans Day assembly. I thought it was really nice. Even though a lot of people were highly disrespectful. Like, we had guest speakers, of course. And they took time out of their day to come talk to you about a subject that pains them. Especially the family who came in to talk about their son that they lost, in July, to the war.
Third Period: I had about 20 minutes of PSSA Enrichment. And what did we do? We talked about the assembly and the Penn State issue. Very productive.
Fourth Period: I had English. We took a quiz on this book that I’m really not reading at all.. And we got all of our old tests and quizzes back. We really didn’t do much in there either..
Fifth/Sixth Period: I had Business Law.. And what did we do? Talked about the assembly, how rude people were, and the Penn State issue and how they should have gone about reporting it and whatnot.
Seventh Period: I had lunch. And there we talked about this movie these kids want to make for their senior project.. To be honest, I think it’s extremely stupid.. They want to do a Blair Witch Project sorta thing.. But how is that going to benefit the school or some sort of organization.. I think it would be a complete waste of time..
Eighth/Ninth Period: I had Cultures. And a substitute. So, that test I studied for last night? Yeah, it’s moved to Monday. Ha.. I also felt like being retarded and asking the substitute a completely irrelevant question about when he was in high school.. I asked him when he graduated and if he knew my brother and sister.. He did.. I find it weird.. And then the bell was about to ring and someone like hacked into my computer or something and completely changed the website I was on and then made it very difficult for me to log off of the computer.. It was extremely weird.. Like, it’s a school computer.. -_-
Tenth Period: I have Algebra II. I like Algebra II.. I didn’t really learn anything new yesterday so I didn’t have a problem with anything today.. We just went over some homework and then got some new homework.. So, nothing really new happened..
Eleventh Period: I had Latin. My school’s like retarded for having 11 periods through out the day.. Anyway, my teacher was going over declensions and stuff.. Whatever, easy crap, right? Well, she made me feel so god damn stupid. I know she was only trying to be helpful, but since I knew what I was doing, I really didn’t need her to talk in that slow baby-like voice. Like, come on, I’m a Junior..
So, my day was pretty pointless.. But now it’s the long weekend, my brother-in-law is going to be on The David Letterman Show and I get to go to my cousin’s house tomorrow for my two little cousins’ Birthday. :P
