Hi, I'm Abbie, I'm 18 and I can't wait to go to college. I am utterly obsessed with ducks. I have a guinea pig, Gregory and a dog, Goombah. And one betta fish, Peter. I love my life for the most part except when my parents give me a hard time. I post a pretty random selection of things. If you want to know more, just send a message my way!

Hot night out with the girlz.

What sucks is that I always have to be supportive of everyone but when I need support no one is there for me.

Since I got my new phone today,

I decided to restore it. But I realized the last time I backed my phone up was months ago. So after it restored, I went to tell my friend happy birthday, but I almost sent it to my ex instead because his messages were in my inbox instead of my friend’s. Oops. :P

Yesterday,

I had Heather take me to the school so I could talk to my guidance counselor. It took all of 5 minutes and my transcripts are sent. I’m so excited. Then, we went back to her house to try to figure out what was wrong with her truck. When we finally fixed it, Heather, Liz, and I went swimming.

The water was super cold. I didn’t want to go swimming.

Then we went back to her house to drop off our water tubes and then we went to Liz’s house. While we were sitting at her house we tried to think of something to do for dinner. We decided tacos and so we all piled into Liz’s car. (Me, Heather, Liz, and Liz’s boyfriend, Rob) We went to the little supermarket around the corner and got all sorts of food. Then we went home and cooked it up. After we ate, we played some board games. Jumanji, and Man Laws and Woman Rules. It was funny because by that time rolled around, CJ showed up. So it was fun.

Also, the whole day I was freaking out because I thought I left my straightener on and I thought by the time I got home my house would be burnt to the ground. But I got home and my house wasn’t burnt to the ground, but my straightener WAS on.

Today:

Now today, it’s already noon and I managed to eat breakfast, find a photographer for my senior pictures, and make some delicious apple crisp.

I need to read my summer reading, though.. Maybe I’ll do that…

So, it’s summer

and I’m going to the school tomorrow morning.

Although, it’s pretty weird, I’m excited.

I get to talk to my guidance counselor and give him information and I’ll be sending my transcripts.

Then I’ll go to Heather’s house and just relax until her mom gets home and then Rachel is going to sleep over my house.

I have to clean Gregory’s cage again.

And then my friend is coming over on Saturday. I’ve never hung out with him outside of school before. We’ll see how this goes.

Today.

Okay, well I woke up, ate, showered, and cleaned. Then Heather and Glen came to pick me up. We went swimming. Well me and Heather did while Glen clung to his precious phone. Then he looked for crayfish and found a baby one. It was super cute. On our way back from swimming we passed a few firetrucks cleaning up after what seemed to be an accident. We really thought nothing of it and continued home. We were home for an hour or so and brushed Heather’s horses. And then we went for a walk and found tons of black berries. When it started to rain a little bit, we went to the barn to see everyone. And I fed the blackberries to some of the ponies. Then we went back home and had some food and Glen and Heather had to fix the electric fence. Then as we were heading back to the house, my dad showed up with a huge bag of chips. So he gave them to my aunt. And then we got talking about the car accident mentioned before and my dad had this idea that since the car flipped a few times it had to have lost some stuff. So finders keepers right? So we go down there and as soon as we climb down over the bank, someone else pulls up and starts talking to my dad because he was the only one up there. Glen just wanted to know what kind of car it was. The guy who stopped happened to be the father of the girl who was the passenger in the car. So he mentioned the girl’s name and the guy who was driving and I was like “no way.” I know the two kids. hah. He was there looking for the girl’s phone. So we climb back over the bank and help him look. We end up finding the charger and then the phone. It seemed to still work. Then we climbed out and left. We went to get gas and then went to Ethan’s house. We just hung out there. Glen broke Heather’s radio on the way. So Ethan was fixing that while me, Glen, and Bob were talking. Then Ethan and Heather eventually joined us. We began to talk about how disgusting the school’s food is. While we were there I looked up on my phone, the kid’s name and I saw that he had posted pictures of the totaled car. It’s his mom’s car and she wasn’t even home, she happened to be away. And the car is at Leggs. So we were looking at the few pictures he had taken and Glen and Ethan determined what kind of car it is. I can’t remember now. But it was cool how they knew what kind it was and the approximate year.

Hey tumblr,

So, I’ve been home for about three days now. Sorry for the lack of posts.

Saturday:

I got home at about 10:15 pm. And the first thing I did was go to the local picnic because it was the last night and it was over at 11. So, 45 minutes was better than nothing. Plus it was fireworks night. I got to hang out with Heather and CJ for a bit so that was fun. Until we went on a ride that went upside down and I told CJ to hold my phone and it went flying off the ride. Took us a few minutes and I thought it was going to be destroyed. Lmao. My phone is a brick. It fell about 20 feet, hit the metal platform of the ride, and landed under it. Nothing was wrong with it. Not to mention I don’t even have a case on it. Hahaha. Then I went home and I showered and unpacked so I didn’t have to do it the next day.

Sunday:

I got up around 9:45 and my dad made french toast. It was his birthday. So, me and him went shopping. I got a bunch of notebooks for school and a kickass backpack. I got a mini journal so I can write in it when I have something to talk about. We got a GPS because my dad borrowed his friend’s for the ride to Mass and he loved how it talked the directions to you. So, my parents decided to invest in one for themselves. My dad also purchased a very nice hat for himself. It’s like a safari/cowboy hat. And it’s made of like pleather. So, that was his birthday present. I also got my Ironman mask. And I wore it the whole way home and I made people smile and I got complimented when we stopped at Krispy Kreme to pick up doughnuts. I was supposed to sleep over Rachel’s house but she didn’t feel like it so it got moved to Monday. But instead, I hung out with Glen, Heather, and CJ. And we went to the movies to see Ted. It was the most hilarious movie ever. No lie.

Monday:

I hung out at my house for most of the day. I tried to start the insanity workout. I did about ten minutes and I was dying. So I had to stop. I’m going to try to push an extra ten minutes of it every day. But right now the first ten was enough. I stopped to have a bowl of cereal and a doughnut. Then I took a shower and had intentions to get ready to go to Rachel’s. She didn’t want me at her house until about 7, so I figured I had time. I fell asleep. When I woke up I had this overwhelming urge to get my huge bin of crap out of my basement and look for my violin stuff. I found the music and my original learning book. i’m going to give that to my niece, she’s 7 and she got a violin for her birthday. It was just a cheap little thing, but my sister is going to teach her how to play. I figured the book would be a great help since it shows you how to hold the bow and how to rosin and stuff. And while I was bookmarking pages in the book, I wanted to play my violin. So I went to our little storage room and got it out and I tuned it. Not well, but pretty close. And I played my violin music from 8th grade. I miss playing in orchestra. After I was done messing around with that, I went outside with my dog and blew some bubbles and got the mail and whatnot. And boy was it hot out. So I texted Heather and asked her if she wanted to go swimming. And so I drove to her house and we took inner tubes to the creek and we just floated for about an hour. And as we were floating, I felt something like hitting my butt. So I look through the hole in the tube and there’s a fish, nibbling on my bum. It was the cutest thing hahaha. Then we went back to Heather’s house and had to baby sit. While we were babysitting we decided to make pizza and mac and cheese. It was delicious. Then by the time her parents got home it was almost 8. So I had Heather bring me to Rachel’s house.

Rachel’s House:

We decided to make a sheet fort. It was pretty legit. And then we ate McDonalds and played around with makeup and she put super pretty makeup on me and then put makeup on me to make me look like a man. I looked like my brother. It was so funny. After that, we just sat around and made fun of the random pregnant people at our school on facebook. Then we were relaxing and we started hearing noises. It was freaky.

Tuesday:

Today, we got up around 11 and ate some breakfast and made some mozzarella sticks. Then we piled into Rachel’s car and went to the mall where I got a free pair of panties from Victoria’s Secret. Then we went to Macy’s and tried on dresses we can’t afford and looked at purses and shoes. After that, we went back home. And I fell asleep on my couch and woke up when my alarm went off at 4. Then I sat outside and Heather texted me and asked if I wanted to go swimming again. I said sure and her and Glen came and picked me up. I hate swimming with Glen. He always splashes me and throws me in the deep end and I can’t swim well and it drives me nuts. Then we went to Tractor Supply because Glen needed something for his horse. Then we went to Walmart because I had the urge to smell candles that smell like pie. So we did that and then went to Wendy’s because Glen’s new girlfriend asked since we were right by it. So we brought her some and then we went to Ethan’s house and just stood around for an hour or so. It was the first time I saw him since I’ve gotten home. Apparently he’s still messing around with Scaroline. Ugh. They cut off all contact for a month and now they’re kind of back together. But whatever. I’m home now and I’m here for a while. Also, Caroline is basically banned from his house so whatever thing they have it’s completely in secret, and things that are kept secret from your own family usually doesn’t work out.

Days 5 and 6.

I’m only doing these days things for the first week and if something exciting really happens. But Thursday it was a semi good day. Tony came home early and took little Tony fishing for a while. Which was great since you can only have so much of that kid. So it was just me, Steph, and Nathan for a few hours until Sara came home. Then we had some supper and went to watch Tony play in another softball game. They won their first one, but lost the one on Thursday. Oh well, you win some you lose some, right?
Today Tony had a late work day. But he managed to get out early so he could get ready for our little trip tomorrow. We went to this awesome little pizza place today. It was absolutely delicious. Then we went grocery shopping. We got a lot of good healthy food as Sara gave all of the juices away to the kids on our little stretch. Hah. She’s too nice.
Stephs neighbors are really nice. She lives in like these townhouses on base where they’re all connected. And they just kinda made friends with the two other families that share it. There’s a couple next door who have three boys, one 13, 10, and 5. Then they have one on the other end with two boys 8 and 4. So the kids have people to hang out with so they’re out of our hair sometimes. But Tony put in this rope in a tree for the kids to swing on and all of a sudden these random ass kids have been coming to the house to swing on it. No one knows them and their parents aren’t around to monitor them or something. It’s annoying because we don’t know who they are at all. Then little Tony, the 10 year old, can’t share with anyone. Not even Nathan, who’s 4. Like he really needs to relax.
But tomorrow we’re taking a little bit of a ride to this beachy area to fish and tan and have a good little time. It’ll be just so relaxing. A nice Father’s Day weekend. (:
